Merry Christmas to All and to All a Goodnight

Well...Sorry I did't post earlier. It's been a long day of traveling for Sal and I. We left VA this morning around 9 and arrived in Tulsa at 4. So here I am at the computer at 11:00. We were so excited about being able to come to OK. Though we are going to miss being with all of the Roth clan over the holidays, we cherish our time with these girls and Austin and Sally's parents.
I did want to share with you all a song that has been on my mind this Christmas season. I am convinced that this is the song the Shepherds probably sang as they left the manger to return to the field. It is entitled Hope Has Come. (the chorus is my favorite part)

Words and Music by
Stephen Altrogge

Let us join with the angel voices
Let us join their happy song
All of heaven and earth rejoices
For the Lamb of God has come
He has come to rescue sinners
Come to meet our desperate need
He was born to bring forgiveness
Born for Calvary

Alleluia, Hope has come
Alleluia, Christ has come
We once were slaves in misery
Till You appeared and set us free
Alleluia, Hope has come

Let us lay our gifts before Him
Let us magnify His Name
With our thankful hearts adore Him
For the Lord has come to save
He has come to break sin’s power
He has come to set us free
Hope was born that glorious hour
Christ the mighty King

Do you like it? Feel free to download the sheet music and an mp3 of the recording here.

Love you all...Merry Christmas.
Talk soon.

Hey, Clif, I think it is a nice song and it may be what the shepherds sang.
The thing that has claimed my attention this year is the word peace and all that comes with that.It may have something to do with the fact that the first of Dec. Dad and I attented a seminar at IBJM on reaching the Jews. One of the ways your can start a conversation with them is to talk about peace and the peace of Jerusalem. Then Dad talked about peace on Wed. night and I read several scriptures that referred to peace. So thatg is my word for this year. Well, I hope you all have a good New Year. It was great to talk to Curtis on Christmas Day.
Today marks another milestone in the life of one Charles Landry Halloran. We are proud of him and fwant to say Happy Birthday to you Landry. We love you very much.
I called his to sing Happy Birthday to him and he says,"is this a message?"

I said ,"No, it's real life." He said, "Oh."
Well, you all take care. I love you.Mom

We love you all and hope you're having a great new year!

Hey everybody. Sorry I have not written in awhile. We have been gone for the past week building a FOB in a small city called hasa. The computers were down about 3 weeks too. I am well. It is really cold here at night and during the day, especially when the wind blows. We were sleeping in tents with no heat while in Hasa so I am just now losing my chills. Thanks to all who sent me letters and packages. Most of all thanks for the video you all put together for me. It was incredible. I watch it often to see faces and hear the voices for my family. The grandkids sure are growing fast. My buddies cant believe i have so many nieces and nephews. I am blessed to have a family that loves me and prays for me many times a day. We are blessed to have parents who love God and past that love on to us. I see so many guys out here that come from disfuctional homes that it makes me love mine that much more. Well, I love and miss you all.
-Curtis
P.S. Laurens email is adonai716@entermail.net

Thanks for the update Curtis - it was so good to talk to you on Christmas day and last Friday as well. Ryrie wants to know if there are any lions in Iraq. Seems like we had another question but I can't remember it at the moment.
Curtis, your thankfulness for our godly family/home serves as a challenge to us all to keep our lives/relationships what they should be before the Lord so that each of us can preserve a BIBLICAL FUNCTIONALITY in our homes.
Thank you for your service in maintaining the freedoms my children will enjoy.
We love you and pray for you!
Speaking of prayer I would like to ask you all to uphold my Pastor, his wife and her grandmother in prayer today and this week. They are going through some pretty extreme circumstances right now and are facing some real discouragement. Maybe pray they I will know how we can encourage them better.

Hey everybody, Just a short note to let you know that Dad and I are still kicking (but not eachother) (that's for you Sally}. We are about to get all of the Christmas stuff back into the attic. Not I have Valentine's stuff out. But NOT near as much stuff.
In the nexst few weeks I will be cleaning out the closets and cupboards of our house and unloading a lot of things. So pray for me that I can really stick with it and get it done and you will be able to see the progress. When everyone was here I really realized how much unneeded and unused things I have stored up for no real reason. SO HERE GOES!!!!!
Well, I talked to Curtis this AM and he was tired but doing okay. It's always good to hear his voice.
You all take care and have a good Sunday. I love you all Mom

Hello to the Roth clan! Happy New Year! Thank you for all of the Christmas wishes and cards. I really appreciated them. It was wonderful being down in TN and seeing most of you. I am sorry that I was not there when you all were but I needed to be with my family at home.
Well 2007 has started out pretty crazy for me. On Jan. 2 I started the first of my two clinical affiliations where I pay to work for someone else for 40 hours a week. But it is a wonderful experience and my first site is really nice. I am enjoying it despite how nervous I am. The second day there they threw a few patients my way for me to treat on my own, which was really scary, but I did okay and have been since. Thank you for the continual prayers!!!
Tina, sorry I didn't get my email to you very quick, it has been very busy.
Caleb, Thank you for the email card! And to answer your question the wedding is going to be in Jacobsburg State Park just north of Nazareth PA, zip code 18064 if you are map questing it. As of right now that date is still going to be May 26, and we are praying that we will not have to change it. Well i have to get going, but I love you all and cannot wait to see all of you in May!!!
