fhey guys! sorry i havent written in a while. we were at a new fob in the city fortifying it. 4 bunkers 50 meters of 7ft hesco, 100 meters of 3ft double strand hesco and rpg netting. you may not know what half of this is but it all adds up to a bunch of work. oh yeah and a metric ton of c wire. anyways i am good. please continue to pray for sgt simmons. he is back with us and is hobbling around. pray for walker and zapata. dad knows the situation. my buddy 'o' is back in bethesda. he has to go back next month for a surgery and some radiation on his head. please keep him in your prayers also.
my two phrases from dad are:

Hello. I'm a little late on this but when it comes to quoteable quotes from Dad, I always remember the reference he would put at the bottom of cards and letters to me in college, PROV. 3:5-6. "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and he shall direct thy paths." I enjoyed dinner with Mom, Dad and Lauren. Happy Birthday (early), Father!! WOW! The big 60! We love you.

Daddy I quoted you tonight. I told the children, as we were watching a movie with some "special effects":), "always remember the camera man is right there." you may not remember saying that to us children but you did quite often if it was a scary or intense situation in a movie.
