Piper. The only reason I think that these words are extra valuable is because I think that they are thought out with all of SCRIPTURE in mind. Dear Family,
This is not an end of the world as we know it moment - though that is coming (2Peter 3:10) it won't be the result of an election.
That being said,I do believe we are facing some interesting and very trying times moving forward. I honestly believe lines will be drawn and it will become increasingly and abundantly clear what it means to be a Bible-believing Christian (not a fundamentalist). Certainly, our faith in God must be strengthened. I pray that may be the silver lining behind this sobering report card of the downward spiral of the morality of this country. I am also hopeful that the clearer lines that are drawn will help to clarify the true Gospel from the false gospels of our day!
