Romans 5:1-2
"Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God."
"The goal or the object of our hope is at the end of verse 2: “Werejoicein hope of the glory of God.” The ultimate hope of the human heart is not forgiveness or justification or heaven or freedom from disease. The ultimate hope of every heart is the glory of God. You were made to see and savor the glory of God. Christmas happened, Good Friday happened, Easter happened so that sinners might not be incinerated by the beauty of God but might see it and savor it with ever-increasing joy. Romans 12:12 says, “Rejoice in hope.” Romans 5:2 completes the thought, “Rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”
This is the ultimate experience that will wipe away every tear. This will rectify every wrong. This will make you say that it was all worth it, no matter what you suffered. Listen to the way Paul put it in 2 Corinthians 4:17, “This slight momentary affliction [=all this life’s afflictions] is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison.” This was the hope that sustained Paul’s joy in affliction. He preached to himself (and we must): this affliction is not meaningless, it is not absurd, it is not cruel, it is not pointless. No, it is working for me an experience of the glory of God that will outweigh every moment and every degree of suffering in this life.
That is our hope. Its ground is the blood and righteousness of Christ by which we are justified through faith. Its goal or object is the glory of God that one day we will experience in the face of Jesus Christ."

Fam,
I thought these words might offer some helpful perspective. As dad says "perspective is everything."
Cary, I know we haven't talked yet bro...but we have been praying for you.(and the others affected.) We love you, bro. Thanks for you steadfastness. GOD IS GLORIFIED.
Let it Snow!
It started last night at 11pm and when we got up this morning there was about 8 inches on the ground. We are supposed to have 8-10 inches more tonight so our Sunday will be interesting. We are in the midst of our missions conference. It has been a great week! We still had a great turnout for our missionary breakfast this morning even with the snow. April hosted a Ladies breakfast at the house and had 16 ladies and their children while the men and boys met at the church for a prayer breakfast. Hope you all are having a great weekend! We are continuing to pray for everyone and especially Curtis and Lauren along with Cary and Amanda.
We are loving our new van with all the room it has. It has been such a huge blessing especially this morning getting through the snow as it is sits up pretty high and some of the roads were still unplowed when we left.
Well they just informed us we will be getting another 7-13 inches by Sunday evening! I probably need to make some plans for a substitute special number in the morning cause I'm guessing our Maranatha students probably won't make it. Our Northland students who arrived last night are leaving today while there is a little break in the weather.
In case Dad doesn't read this, Mom, could you tell him that we used the Gospel Song for our missions conference. It was a great blessing to sing every night - we added a couple verses for a special emphasis during the conference. Thanks Dad for telling me about and Clif for getting me the music!
Take care everybody - pray that I won't break my back trying to shovel us out tomorrow morning. Thankfully we only have one service tomorrow at 9:00 because of the MC.
Caleb

Clair,Cita,Cary,Caleb,Clif, and Curtis, Mom and Dad Are we all lifting each other up to our Heavenly Father in prayer? Are we undergirding each other with the Love of God? We are so blessed to have the family we have. Let us never take that lightly. I believe we must all work togeter to stay strong in the Lord so we may inturn love, comfort, liftup and most of all ,with this love, bring others into The Kingdom. God Has ,with sovereign purpose, placed us on different parts of the Globe to take What wonderful truths and what wonderful JOY we have of knowing Gods love, forgiveness,THE HOPE My goodness The list goes on and on!!!!(and so does this runon sen.)
Thank you God for Choosing me to be apart of your plan. Thank you God for giving Clif and Donna Roth to me for parents. We all have a story to tell!!! We all have the ability to tell it!!! We all Have a multitude to share it with!!! How Can we not be faithful in our daily lives to exuberate Gods Love; in how we look,in how we act, in how we talk, in how SMILE and also How we PRAY for one anther to have the strength from day to day to have the victory over the power of satan in our lives and homes.
Didnt mean to be so long.
Remember this Prayer? "...Thy Kingdom come Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven." We do NOT have to wait for some of the Joys in Heaven; That is IF Jesus reigns on the Throne of our hearts and Lives. Let's all continue with extra ferver today to fullfill His kingdom here on earth.
Hmmm...I am a little confused as to who wrote that. Thanks for the words.

What time is the wedding?
The wedding is at Jacobsburg State Park correct.
The wedding is at 3pm and the reception will be directly after in the same area if there is no rain.
