well the pic was funny sorry i couldnt post on the other one. it has been busy around here. we are heading back out for 5- 10 days like mom said early. pray everything goes well. pray for some leadershp issues in our platoon with our platoon commander. he had a whole platoon last time he was in iraq now he just has 10 guys so i think he feels cheated and insignificant. and then to add insult to injury he did not go out on that last op so he was not there for the big find. i think you can all see were this is going so pray. it rained today for the first time. desert rain is freezing cold. it is like a hot and cold shower when you turn it to cold. we got to grill steaks the other night. co gunny got them for us to celebrate the successful mission. all we had was salt and pepper to put on them but they tasted really great. that is what depravation does to you i guess. thanks to all who sent packages they were very up lifting. i miss little things like cracker jacks and cheesits. its crazy what you will think about when you think about what your everyday life used to be and what it is now. things you miss are incredible. but enough of that. i hope you all are well. cant wait to get home next spring, for more reasons than one! i love you all.

Curtis,
Good to hear from you! I'm planning to call Lauren today to see if she wants to come visit us for a weekend sometime soon.

(Lauren, I have a message in for your number. If you would give it to me first, then I'll call and invite you to our house! :)

Beka's husband Rob made it home safely. He will be finished with his service at the end of November. He is in good spirits and is adjusting well to civilian life. He wants your email address if you have one that you are able to check.

All is well here. I had to go to the dentist today. Booohoooo. I'm in recovery right now, as half my head is numb.

Love you all.

Hello Everyone! Trust everyone one is well. Have a great weekend!

Mom, we are praying for Curtis! Just a few encouraging verses. Psalm 28:6 "Blessed be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.
7The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him."
Isaiah 41:10 "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

I love you all! God Bless You!
