We are pretty pumped. We are leaving tomorrow for Turkey. We will be gone for 11 days.
We will be in Istanbul for the first day then flying to Eastern Turkey and touring small towns and villages for the next 6 days, spend another day traveling, then 2 days in Istanbul before heading back to VA. We are just praying that the Lord will use this time not only to take the LIGHT into the darkness, but also to bring about CHANGE in our hearts, making us more like Him. We love you all and ask for your prayer. We also encourage you to check out the blog that we will be updating from Turkey. Not sure how often we will get a chance to do that, but evidently there are many internet cafe's in the places that we will be touring. The link to that blog is to the right. Love you all...we will check this blog as well and comment when we get a chance.

We are so excited for you and Sally to be going on this trip. We are praying for you for safty and for God to use you in ways you never thought possible. Be sure to take lots of pictures.
Pray for us as we start our NBT Tomorrow night. We are praying for 100 children. Pray that we will have good weather.
Daddy said to be careful how you treat your wife on this trip.Remember she is a fragile vase, and may not be up to all the riggors of this trip.

We will be praying for you as you travel these next 11 days. My advice to you is "Carpe diem". Don't pass up the opportunity to experience something different, touch someone's life, or share the Gospel. These trips are great times for God to use you so "Sieze the Day"!!
For Dad:
I just want to wish you a Happy Father's Day. You will never know how I value your wisdom and advice. You are a great father, friend and mentor in the ministry. Thank you for passing on to us Christian values and instilling them in us so we may also pass them on to our children.
We love you very much and hope you have a rewarding day as we remember and honor you.

Clif and Sally have a fantastic time we will pray especially for you as you are away and That God will use this greatly in your lives and in the lives you come in contact with. we love you. we would like to make plans to come up on the 4th. We do not know if that invitation is still open.We just finally got to really discuss that today over fathers day lunch at Olive Garden. The children firmly believe it is what we "need" to do. So you can get back to us on that.
Happy Fathers day again Dad. I love you so much. Words can not express my emotions when I stop and ponder what a fabulous father I have. When I look around at all the fatherless children it is more than my heart can take.Daddy thank you so much for not bailing out on your family when the responsibiliy seemed so overwhelming and you knew in your mind "This is not what I really thought it would be like". I know all the pressures and temptaions of this world would make it seem like not a big deal to choose another course of living. I cant even begin to imagine, now that I have 2 children ,what it could possibly be like to have had the responsibility of SIX! Daddy, you Did a Fantastic Job- I mean you,Mom and your Manual, The Bible. I pray that God in His grace and mercy will see our family through this journey of growing to a victorious end- all of us me, chuck,lorena and landry. I love you dad. I will be praying for NBT.
