Could You Imagine a Different Mother?

Don't try it is SCARY!!!!

I am thinking about what a birthday is…and finding that it is impossible for me to imagine that the lady that gave birth to me was actually born in the same fashion. Wait a second…now that I think about it…I don’t think mom was ever born. I think she’s pretty much been a mom her whole life. Just observe her mothering skills and you’d think she has never done anything different. Amazing, I say, truly amazing. The mom of all moms in my estimation.
All six of us have experienced some of God's immeasurable Grace in the fact that we were born to Donna Roth. What a testimony to God’s sovereign plan that we should be born this amazing lady. How did it happen??? I am so grateful that I was spared from being born to any other woman. I can’t imagine not having Donna Roth as my mother. I mean…what would we do? I know God would have worked it out and granted each of us grace to deal with the likes of some other mother out there, but WOW…how hard would life have been if we had to have been sons or daughters of another woman. (To borrow a word from my wife)Weirdish, I tell you, wierdish!
Anyway…She is a blessing from above…
Mom, we love you so much. May we each beg GOD for the wisdom and grace to know how to honor you as God wills and has commanded. Not with vain words, but with our lives and attitudes. May our gift to you this year be more than material, may it be the JOY of knowing “your children are walking in the TRUTH.”

Love you Mom…I am sure there are more words to come from the others.

happy birthday mom!!! i think you would agree with me that may truely is the best month to be born in. i want to specially thank you for loving me. you had me late in life and according to the doctors it was a high risk pregnancy but you did not care. you could have said,"i have five already i cant handle another." but you didnt. even though, come to find out i was the hardest to handle. you could have just let me go, but you chose to love me and you chose to be my mother. you made our house a home. i was not always thankful and respectful for what you did for me. but you loved me unconditionally. thank you. as i leave for training and ultimately iraq i know that i have a faithful, God fearing mother at home praying for her baby. i love you mom. your the best mom in the world.
side note: please pray for lauren this week. she has finals and has to do really good. she could really use your prayers as she prepares for our future together. love you all!

Donna Kay! Happy Birthday! I am sending you a birthday card! It is going to be a little late, okay! But I want you to know I love you with all my heart. I've loved you since I met you and I've known since highschool that you were the mother-in-law for me! I'm thankful for you. I hope you had a great day! Talk to you soon. P.S. How old are you by the way? Don't mean to be rude, but we are having a debate about it in the Clifton Wilson household!

Well,Hey, everybody,
Thank you all for the birthday greetings. I had a good day. Breakast with Dad at Karl's, lunch with Curtis, Cita and Chuck at Ankar's. I had a Falafel. It was good but not as good as in Israel, but I would eat another. Then last night Dad and Curtis and I went to Chili's after we spent 2 hours having the car break down and towing it to Ralph's. But all is well that ends well. We don't know the condition of the car as of noon today.
Thank you for all the very nice things you said about me. I don't think they are all the complete truth but love is blind. And I know you all love me.
Ilove you all very much. I think you are the best and greatest bunch of children and children-in-law anyone could ever have.
Clif W. I am now 62 so I can now draw my SS check. But as I stated before neither I nor you will ever get rich from it.
Well I have to get on the Israel pictures and get them finished. So take care. I love you all. Mom
