Well, Caleb...I cut in front of you bro...hope you can forgive me. I am at the church office waiting for Sally who had to go to a "baby shower" this afternoon and so I decided to use my time to go ahead and put these pics on here.
Last weekend Sally and I went with Corey, Kristy, Barenice, Paul, and Amy(all people from Grace) downtown to see the beginning of the Cherry Blossom Festival. (follow link for more info) This year marks the 94th year of the gift to the U.S.A. from Japan of 3,000 cherry trees from Tokyo. The blossoms were just beginning to make thier appearence as the actual peak day was on Thursday the 30th. After taking in the blossoms, as well as the Jefferson and FDR Memorials, we headed to Cosi(a new favorite of mine) and Starbucks(an old favorite of mine) on Capital Hill. (by the way...If you come and visit us, we will take you to Cosi and Starbucks on Capital Hill, they are the best.)
Despite the fact that the wind picked up and gave us quite a chill and the fact that we missed Mason beating UConn, we had a great time, and we plan to do it again. I am trying to talk Corey into letting us have our "Care Group" on the National Mall one warm Sunday evening. (we'll see) Anyway...here are some of the pictures from last weekend. Enjoy...

thanks bro. that would be cool. send them on. copy both my hotmail and work email when you do it. that would be great. We have a busy week scheduled. Sal meets with some of the women from the church tonight to plan the next ladies meeting, I am playing b-ball and 24 comes on at 9. We have no TV at our house anymore so we will have to go to a friends house for that. Tomorrow we have Crossroads, an evangelistic Bible study, Wed night Sal has a meeting with the ladies going to Turkey with us, Thursday is music rehearsal, and Friday is date night. I think we are going to Chuckie Cheese this week. Anyway...we are excited about all that the Lord is doing in our hearts, constantly molding us bending us to conform to His image. He is REAL, was the theme of a testimony Sally shared yesterday. He is REAL indeed. We are praying for all of you, may His Grace be sufficient.
Caleb Spring will come soon. And when it does it is so refreshing. Lorena counted the days for the first day of spring. Much to her dismay the first day of spring brought us a typical chatt. winter day cold and rainy. She didnt understand. Now a few weeks later we are enjoying beautiful weather. Our tulips are blooming. Trees are blooming the breeze is blowing and the long wait to fly our new kites is over. Chuck and the children flew there kites last night. What fun. Caleb, hug all the kidos for us. I need to remind chuck to send you an absolutly adorable photo of Chuck and Andric plus some others.I trust April is doing fine with this pregnancy. please hug her for me.
Clif just sounds like you and sally are on top of everything. We miss you so much. We would like for you to send us some dates that would be good for you all to have some company. Lorena and Landry remind us often that we really need to go see Clif and Sally. Chuck told them we would plan something. Sally I did not get the cleaning job. They hired a foriegn girl for less than I quoted. I did really hope I would get it,but I know the Lord nows better. Thank you so much for advice.
Dad called Monday and left a message said once again that they were doing great and Haveing a wonderul time. they will be back in town about 8:30 Wed evening. Curtis will probably pick them up.
Quickly one more thing please pray for me as I prepare for our after easter musical at church. I have a narrator part. It is very vital to the musical Which is called A.D. A Musical for Easter and Beyound created by Deborah Craig-Claar and Robert Sterling. I am trying to memorize it all for the most part. I am doing ok but I still have alot of work. This is a powerful musical. I really want the Lord to use me as I convey the story of Jesus crucifiction and Resurection.
Id Love to share more about it if you would like.
Thats it for now.
