Turdis turns twenty-four Thursday!
Curtis, just wanted to take a minute to honor you and wish you a very Happy Birthday! It is crazy to think that you are 24, married, a homeowner, and now a father????? What, wait a second? Dude, God has blessed you in so many ways and has certainly empowered you to be a blessing to all of us. We are indeed grateful.
You know, I was thinking today that, when one's heart is in the right place, there is some respect that is earned when he breaks the molds. Curtis, you have certainly broken a few molds and earned some respect for doing it. I know that God has given you a few trials to bear over the few months, but I am confident that He has done it for His glory. Stay strong my man! Stay faithful! And pursue humility. Seek lots of counsel. I mean...you have 2 parents, 5 siblings, 2 inlaw parents, and 5 inlaw siblings. Thats a ton of counsel. Ask for it, and you will be safe.
I am so thankful to call you my brother. It has been great to watch you become a man.
Peace and Love my dog.

Curtis! Happy Birthday! I'm so glad you are my brother! I always wanted a big brother. . . and I kinda got one in you. I appreciate the times you call concerned and just checking in. You are a loyal friend and a good man!
May God continue to bless you and shape you in the coming year!
Well. Curtis, Did you have a happy birthday? What were you doing? Oh yes, installing cupboards, washing tile, seating toilets, waiting on carpet cleaners and installers! What fun!!! I reminded Curtis of what I was doing 24 years ago Thur. He didn't remember any of it. I'm glad. It's hard to believe my baby is 24 yrs old.
I'm proud of you and of all you have done in your short life. Keep up the good work. It's wonderful to see the Lord leading in your life.
I love you,
Mom
Well I did have a wonderful birthday. Working on OUR house and getting ready to move in. We got our internet changed over to the house so I am now able to check the electronic mail. Thank you Clif for those nice words. It always feels good to feel like you have accomplished something. But truth be told I have 4 brothers and a sister that I owe alot to and 2 incredible parents that I will never be able to repay for what they have taught me and the prays they have prayed for me.
Lauren and I moved into our house Saturday. Our only casualty was the washer, but our china cabinet made the trip and that makes up for it all. We still have tons of stuff to do, but who doesnt? Lauren's mom and dad are coming down this weekend along with her sister and brother-in-law so we are looking forward to that. love you all and talk to ya soon.
Wow! That whole house buying thing happened rather quickly! Praise the Lord for his providence and perfect timing! Can't wait to see pictures! How's Lauren these days?
