What? You think it's time for a new post or somethin'?

Ok, Ok...here.

To read the article that Caleb recommended click here.

To read dad's post entitled "How the Gospel Should Be Lived" click here.

You will notice the new format of the blog. Hope it does not throw you off too much. I just consolidated so that only one post appears at a time. To view past posts, simply click on the title in the list to the right. Try to keep your comments isolated to the post to which they pertain. Does that make sense? For example someone may start a discussion about a certain post. Let's keep that discussion isolated to that post. You can comment on any post at any time.
You all are getting great at this blogging thing. I am so thankful.

I love you all...

By the way...you should all check out GMAIL. Caleb, Sally, Curtis, and I have all set up accounts. There is a great chat feature and some other really cool little features. It is quite user friendly. If you have questions about it let me know...you can call me at work: 703-881-7229.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a Goodnight!

you know, so much for the stores getting into the Christmas stuff way to early. Clif is already wishing us a merry Christms, Granted we did do some Christmas stuff while Clif and Sally were here but rumor has it Clif's church will be singing Hark, the Herald Angels Sing. Ryrie wants to know if you all know what "Hark" means. No cheating uncle Clif.
Oh, btw, The WI Roth clan is planning to be in the Chattanooga area on or around the 29th of December until the 2nd of January. Please make plans to see us while we are there.

I would like to say thank you to the Veterans in our family who have served or are serving in the armed services. For without their sacrifice we would not enjoy the freedoms we have today. Thank You! Thursday, we had the first annual chili cook off at Phoenix Air. I entered a crock of chili and out of 30 entries I placed 3rd !! I won $25 so I guess I'm not on the ammature circate any more since I won money. I've turned pro:) I told Amanda, "No, this doesn't mean I'll be doing all the cooking at home." She was pretty proud of me. I used a recipe from Paula Deen (The Lady and Sons) with a few changes to make it my own. Thanks Paula. Well, have a great weekend and thank a veteran. Curtis, we love you and are proud of what you are doing. We will continue to support you. Semper Fi!

In Christ Alone, CDR

Well I guess I missed a day or two on the blog. Lots of interesting things were said.

We Had a very nice day celebrating chucks birthday. Lorena is of course like her mother. Everything has to be a big "to-do". We went birthday shopping for daddy on friday after school. Sat. morning Chuck got up early to go to a pressing job he needed to finish up. So L and L and I got up early and made one of his favorite baby pigs in blankets. after he left we started on a from scratch newyork style cheesecake (chocchip) it turned out beautiful!! we had fun
Lorena made a big banner to hang out side and landry and I wrapped our presents. we broke for an hour and I took the kids to mel and ash so I could go sing at a funeral. then when we got home we got ready for party with daddy. He loved his gifts and we went out to Texas road house. (we had free kids meals) Then Chuck wanted to go to toy r us. Go Figure. We bought three games Great sale Plus rebate!!! We came home and played Mouse Trap and had Fancy Cheesecake. YUUUM it was so good. It was a wonderful day in our home. (especially when I think of how that day played out last year) THank you Lord so much!!!!
